Canon Utility Software

(available free with canon cameras)

The EOS Utility software allows you to transfer a photo from a Canon camera to your computer by tethering or by Wi-Fi. When setting up the EOS utility software you will need to set up a destination folder, which you will assign fotoShout to monitor.

1) Open EOS Utility software
2) Click on “Preferences”
3) Click the “Destination Folder”tab
4) Enter the destination folder in the dialog box. (i.e. c:\fs_demo_event)
5) Click OK
6) Select the folder where you want the images exported too. This needs to be the same folder you setup in the folder dialog box within the fotoShout web portal. i.e. c:\fs_demo_event
7) The digital file is now transferred to the folder you selected
8) The digital file is now automatically transferred to the fotoShout app on the iPad
